OUR FOUNDERS
Founder Biography — Bishop Clement Nwani
Bishop Nwani was born again in early 1966, through the dynamic ministry of the FCGN in Lagos, Nigeria. The church exposed him to many areas and opportunities for ministry, because of the faithfulness he exercised in every assignment. The rare anointing that he carried made him wear many hats in the FGCN. He excelled in all assignments, including serving as the church's General Secretary, the Sunday School General Superintendent, serving in the youth outreach ministry, and National Youth Coordinator. Then known as brother Clement Nwani, he became one of the fire brands that helped the church. He preached and evangelized regularly after church services at places like the Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital, a military base, the Welfare Remand Children's Home for delinquent children, and at prisons. It was in the midst of this journey of service, wholeheartedly committed to God, that he encountered his sweetheart then fiancée, the then sister Evelyn, who happened to be born again at the same time and was serving the Lord fervently. They both eventually answered the call to serve God for the rest of their lives and together were admitted to Light House of International Foursquare Evangelism (L.I.F.E.) Theological Seminary, Ikorodu Annex, Lagos, Nigeria. They both graduated with a valuable four-year degree in Biblical Studies. After graduation in 1980, Bishop Nwani was unanimously voted for, and appointed at an FGCN convention to the post of Overseer of FGCN churches throughout the eastern Nigerian States, covering Rivers to Cross Rivers States. He served in this position from 1980 to 1990.
In 1991, after working extensively in Nigeria, God told Bishop Nwani to relocate to the United States of America. Then known as Pastor Clement, he served faithfully along with his family at the Oasis Christian Center in Los Angeles for three years, after which God birthed in his heart, and that of his wife Pastor Evelyn, to start a ministry of their own. On the 2nd of August 1998, the Abundant Life Miracle Christian Center was born, a Sanctuary of Praise unto God.
After years of service in building spiritual leaders, sons, and daughters, Rev. Clement was installed to the office of a Bishop by Archbishop W. R. Portee, of Southside International Christian Palace, Los Angeles, California, in the company of other great men and women of God on August 14th, 2006.
Bishop Clement continues to impart and train leaders as he believes he is called by God to build up strong, spirit-filled champions for God's end time move.
